Governance Review
Good governance in project management ensures clear accountability and effective decision-making. It empowers stakeholders, maintains focus, and facilitates smooth transitions, ultimately leading to successful outcomes aligned with organisational goals. Governance membership and terms of reference are important at the establishment and throughout the project lifecycle to ensure robust decision-making, including communicated and mitigated risks. Governance effectiveness reviews involve a discussion with the Accountable Officer, committee members and project team to understand the effectiveness of the governance structure, terms of reference and remit to inform continual improvement.
